Armed Felon Arrested After Standoff At Adams/York Line: PA State Police (Update)

A convicted felon who allegedly threatened a woman with a gun during a domestic incident was arrested after a standoff in York County on Thursday morning, Nov. 7, 2024, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Brian Price, 43, is accused of threatening a woman during a domestic dispute at a home on the 10 block of Eisenhart Mill Road in Washington Township, York County, PSP Troop J Trooper James Grothery detailed in a release. 

Troopers were called to the scene around 8:20 a.m. after the woman, who managed to escape, reported that Price had pointed a handgun at her and made threats. Investigators discovered that Price was barred from possessing firearms due to a prior felony conviction.

PA State Troopers were called to Route 194 North near East Berlin there is an active police incident near East Berlin - close to the Adams, York County line.

Police are in the area of Route 194 North, just north of East Berlin as of 2:30 p.m.

"Troopers have the area cordoned off," PSP York Trooper James Grothey told us.

Authorities set up a perimeter around the residence and attempted to call Price out. After several hours, he surrendered peacefully and was taken into custody, police said.

Price has been charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, a felony; terroristic threats, a misdemeanor of the first degree; and simple assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. A preliminary arraignment was held, with further proceedings are pending.
